Finola McMahon is an PhD student in the department of English and the Center for Writing Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  They finished their MA in English, here at UIUC, in Spring of 2021. 

Finola McMahon grew up near Houston, Texas. They completed their BA in Emerging Media and Communication at The University of Texas, Dallas, with a minor in Computer Science. They worked as a writing tutor while at UTD and continued to do so in the year before attending UIUC.
