    Gallagher Awarded Tech Ethics Lab Research Grant

    Dr. John Gallagher, Associate Professor of English and a core faculty member in the Center for Writing Studies, has received 1 of 19 competitive research awards from the Notre Dame-IBM Technology Ethics Lab. Gallagher’s project, “Best Practices for Communicating and Writing AI Audits,” aims to provide Artificial Intelligence (AI) auditors with the discipline-specific training required to reach multiple expertise levels in their reporting, while navigating potential pitfalls of ambiguity, according to the award announcement.
